"Manic" by Terri Cheney
This one appealed to be huge because she worked in the field of law and dealt with mental illness. Before reading this book, I thought I knew a little bit about what bi-polar might feel like. I had no idea. This book does a good job of bringing the reader into the author's world without preaching or losing the little bits of humor that can come with an existence that isn't always kind.
